    Surface Design Technologies Pvt Ltd. 3D scanning captures geometrical data with the fidelity required for efficient and accurate mold making, reverse engineering, and other industrial applications. In addition, the 3D scan data may be modified and scaled to accommodate a wide range of marketing and manufacturing requirements. 3D scan data from production parts may be compared to their original CAD designs, ensuring that critical tolerances and quality standards are met. When adequate design documentation is unavailable, entire parts may be directly re-engineered from our 3D data sets.

One of our clients office with a arched shaped steel tensile structure had supports fixed to the building columns and beams.Cracks had been developed on the walls and columns civil structure due to the improper support of the steel structure to the building. To rectify the fabricated steel structure our client wanted to have actual site 3d CAD data as is from the site.

Requirement: The customer wanted as built 3D model of the steel structure and 2d drawing to analyze stress test to understand the problems, rectify the error in fabricated arched structure.

Time: Customer already spent 4 months with different suppliers without any solutions to the issue. The traditional methodology failed to analyze the structure design issue. Surface Design Technologies came up with Cost effective and higher accuracy i.e. 3D Scanning of entire structure and deliver them 3D model in a week time period.

3D Model is finally used for stress analyze testing and finally for corrections to the support structure to the arched structure.
